The Special Occasions Band brings 3 decades of musical influences to the stage each and every time they perform, by drawing from a wide variety of musical styles such as R&B, Jazz, Blues, Funk, Country, Latin, Pop, Gospel and Go-Go.
The band is truly a musical family and considers it a blessing to share their music with all who desires to listen. Special Occasions Band treats each and every show, set, and song as a special moment for their audiences.
With over 20 years of experience playing Corporate events, Galas, Festivals, Weddings, Birthdays, Concerts and Clubs, Special Occasions will put every ounce of energy into each note, chord, and beat.
Mike Parker
Mike Parker, a talented singer and songwriter hailing from Fauquier County, Virginia, captured the hearts of millions with his incredible vocal abilities on the renowned reality show American Idol. Born and raised in the picturesque countryside of Fauquier County, Mike developed a deep love for music at a young age, nurtured by the rich musical heritage of his community.

LaDel The DJ a Fauquier High School grad and member of the county’s Mann Family, takes the main stage to provide a one-of-a-kind music set
The pro DJ is a highly experienced serving all of VA as a feature at events like the National Sand Soccer Championships, Henrico’s Juneteenth, Richmond’s Breast Cancer Walk, the Suicide Awareness Walks for Fredericksburg, Virginia and RVA

The orchestra is composed of talented musicians who skillfully blend traditional Calypso, Soca, and Reggae rhythms with contemporary genres, creating a fusion that is both innovative and deeply rooted in cultural tradition.

Silky Smooth Dance Studio led by Mrs. Sandra Mason will incorporate Hand Dancing, Stepping, and mandatory crowd participation.

Join us the Afro-American Historical Association transforms the History Tent into a museum for the day. The AAHA Leadership and staff will serve as the historical center of the event with the following exhibits and interactive historical experiences for all ages.
